Appointment of Lord Lieutenant's Cadet

Huge congratulations to Galashiels Academy Deputy Head Boy Jack Broatch who has been appointed as the Lord Lieutenant's Cadet by John Jeffrey and was presented with the Lord Lieutenant's Air Cadet certificate. This is a very special honour, recognising comitment, dedication and service to the community.

As Lord Lieutenant Cadet, Jack will have the opportunity to support the Lord Lieutenant at official engagements and represent young people across the local areas.

It was lovel.y to see other Gala pupils taking part in the proceedings and looking so smart.

Congratulations Jack!
